GIS & Mapping
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a computer-based mapping system used for the creation, storage, and maintenance of geographic (spatial) digital data. The data is organized in layers and can be used for analysis and mapping for Town projects. Each layer has information (called attributes) in a database that relates to each data set.
